Associate Account Manager

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (UK/EU)

Speech Graphics is looking for an Associate Account Manager to join our talented team. The successful candidate will have a dual responsibility, focused around developing business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients in the gaming industry. 

Key position responsibilities:
  • Develop a full understanding of the capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages of Speech Graphics products and services
  • Build client relationships across existing and new companies
  • Educate and drive understanding with your clients with regards to Speech Graphics’ value add processes and services
  • Engage in understanding clients’ industries, business needs and company culture to work strategically with our client and support their growth
  • Identify opportunities and contacts that will lead to growing our clients expand our partnership with clients in a strategic way
  • Networking – act as first point of contact and be responsible for outreach/initial contact 
  • Work in collaboration with your manager to seek opportunities for growth and to increase client offering 
  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations
Experience

This role would be suited for someone ready to take the next step in their career. We are open to applications from recent graduates with relevant degrees (e.g. Business Studies) , or those in their early years of working in a Business Development/Account Management (or similar) role – this is not a hard and fast rule, but should be used to give you an idea of the experience level required. Experience and/or a genuine interest in the gaming industry is a real plus, but not essential.  

Required skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential to this role
  • High level of organisation with an ability to schedule and minute client meetings
  • A proactive approach to seeking out opportunities and creating relationships
  • Comfortable working with data and using an analytical approach to understand budget requirements
  • Previous experience in working with CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce would be an advantage although not essential

For this role we are open to candidates from across the UK and wider Europe (fluency in English is a must). The successful candidate will work with our UK and US team to help build out our presence within the European market.

Unreal Engineer

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Speech Graphics is looking for an Unreal Engineer with a passion for games and technology to join our team working on Unreal plugin development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as being familiar with C++ and blueprinting processes. This role will report to the senior programmer on the team, and work with all disciplines in the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Unreal plugin using a combination of C++ and blueprints.
  • Working closely with the team to turn ideas from design, through prototyping, to production.
  • Test, debug, profile, analyse and optimise your code
Required Skills:
  • Proactive individual with a can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working with a team of mixed disciplines, with good verbal and written skills
  • Good knowledge of working in UE4
  • Good C++ programming, comfortable coding and debugging systems
  • Comfortable using blueprinting in UE4
Desirable criteria:
  • Passionate about games development and technology 
  • Continuous learning mindset 
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field 
Commercial Experience:
  • Graduate level or 1-2 years experience – This is not a hard and fast number, but an indicator of the experience level we are seeking for this position. We are looking for someone who’s talent we can help develop and nurture in a busy and engaging environment.

Product Marketing Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA / San Mateo

We have created a successful business around our cutting-edge animation technology in the game industry and are now developing a platform product that will enable any developer to access our tech via an API to deliver talking avatars on any website.

As Product Marketing Manager, your responsibility will be to work closely with executives, product, sales and development team to develop aspects of marketing, “go to market” and growth initiatives to broaden our market position.. You will play a key role in making decisions that inform our product roadmap, bring awareness, acquisition, activation, retention and referrals of our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and develop market positioning, programs and messaging strategy across channels to drive market awareness, customer acquisition and long term relationships.
  • Define and implement a GTM strategy to attract new developers and drive developer adoption;
  • Identify value proposition and key messages which resonates with our developers.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering team to define product deliverables and solutions.
  • Creating and delivering sales enablement and materials that will lead to pipeline developmentand closed business.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. (MBA is a plus)
  • 3 to 5 years in a product marketing or go-to-marketing experience, product management, or
    developer evangelist role;
  • Have product empathy in understanding the journeys of our target customers;
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS customer journey and personas (especially at mid-sized and
    larger companies)
  • Enough technical understanding to communicate authentically with developers about topics
    such as APIs, serverless computing, SaaS, and web applications
  • The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive, test and refine, data-driven
    hypothesis.
  • Strategic approach to developing content and developer journeys, with experience executing
    on full funnel multichannel campaigns
  • Experience working with product and engineering throughout a product’s lifecycle;
  • Experience in B2B marketing and working closely with sales teams is preferred;
  • Ability to work autonomously in a startup-like environment to align stakeholders, understand persona/mindset (executives and product) and execute with business partners on the key priorities.
