We’re going to Reboot Dubrovnik!

We are excited to announce that we will be taking part in the 7th annual Reboot Develop Blue conference.

Featuring 175 speakers, the event runs from 29th September to 1st October in the beautiful coastal city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, which fans of Games of Thrones may also recognise as King’s Landing.

Our co-founder and CTO, Michael Berger, will be participating in a panel discussion on the ethical implications of creating ever more lifelike digital characters. This panel will take place on Friday 30th September at 4pm on the Xsolla stage.

Panel hosts, Genvid, summarise the topic as follows: “Games look more realistic than ever, across interactive play, MMOs, and emerging technologies. How do we moderate the final product as developers implement the constituent spots of a virtual human through intricate eye tracking, hand gestures, and speech? With the convergence of artificial intelligence in game development, this roundtable discusses the ethics of how human beings treat digital human beings.”

Michael will be joined by Professor Blay Whitby, Rod Stafford from Kythera AI, and Nika Nour from Genvid.

Our Global Account Director, Dan Geoffrey, will also be in attendance and would be delighted to hear from you if you’d like to schedule a meeting
